Our financial model is built with one central goal in mind: providing journalists with the resources they need to do top-quality work.
To get L.A. Reported off the ground, we’re using a standard nonprofit model, raising money from donors to make sure we can pay reporters adequately. Eventually, as we build our brand, we expect to be funded primarily by our readership.
