Our mission: produce great journalism, train great journalists.
While the main mission of L.A. Reported will be to produce the next generation of great Los Angeles journalism, there will also be a second, complementary mission: training the next generation of great American journalists.
A key part of our model is to produce high-quality, high-impact, fun-to-read stories by pairing experienced editors — who learned their trade at publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Vanity Fair, and Forbes — with reporters who are earlier in their career.
